The 21-year-old aspiring actor is currently based in Mumbai, where he is undergoing rigorous training in drama, theatre, method acting, and voice modulation. Additionally, he is exploring modelling assignments to build confidence in front of the camera and enhance his screen presence. This multifaceted approach aims to prepare him for a successful career in the entertainment industry.
Independent Career Ambitions
Despite being the son of a well-known actress, Abhimanyu is determined to carve his own path. He stated, "I do not wish to rely on my family name, especially my mother's influence, to secure a launch in the film industry. That is one of the main reasons I shifted to Mumbai, where I am currently undergoing acting training to prepare myself for auditions and earn projects on my own merit. I am also actively exploring opportunities in Mumbai, including web series. At the same time, I am trying my hand at modelling, as it helps improve my body language and enables me to face the camera with greater confidence and ease."
Mother's Advice
Srabanti, commenting on her son's plans, emphasized the importance of patience. "I always tell Jhinuk (Abhimanyu) that success is a marathon rather than a sprint," she said. Adding further, she remarked, "Other than hard work, my only suggestion to him is to be disciplined, respectful, and grounded in life. That foundation is important for anyone who wants to build a lasting career."
Abhimanyu remains cautious about the reported offer, stating, "I'm modelling in Mumbai while training for cinema, but I'm not in a position to comment on the reported offer."
