Neha Harsora Reflects on Amritsar Filming for Udne Ki Aasha

The television series Udne Ki Aasha has captivated viewers with its stunning visuals and compelling narrative, particularly during the Amritsar sequence. Neha Harsora, who portrays the lead character Sailee, recently opened up about the memorable shoot, despite facing harsh weather conditions.

A Culinary and Cultural Delight

Neha expressed immense joy about filming in Amritsar, emphasizing the city's rich culture and delectable cuisine. She described the food as more than just meals—it was an immersive experience. From butter kulchas to chicken tikka, she noted that the flavors in Amritsar are unparalleled. "You don't have bites; you indulge in experience," she said, highlighting the aromatic presence of desi ghee, lassi, and tandoori dishes that could be sensed from afar.

She also praised the kindness and hospitality of the local people, which added to the overall warmth of the shoot. "I might not have bought anything special from there, but I have carried so many experiences and so much warmth that made this whole shoot precious," Neha added, underscoring the emotional value of her time in the city.

Weather Challenges and Resilience

However, the shoot was not without its difficulties. Filming during the winter months presented significant challenges due to extreme cold and fog. Neha recounted early mornings with dense fog and smog, which often delayed shooting schedules. "We would wake up at 6 am, and there would be fog and smog everywhere, and it interfered with the shooting schedule," she explained.

One particular scene, where she and co-star Kanwar Dhillon (playing Sachin) were on a balcony, required a late-night shoot in chilly conditions. Despite the discomfort, both actors persevered. "But we still gave our best for the love of our audience," Neha stated, showcasing their dedication to the project.

Positive Outcomes and Lasting Memories

Despite the weather setbacks, Neha described the overall experience as amazing. She humorously noted that both she and Kanwar gained a little weight due to the delicious food and positive energy of Amritsar. "Sometimes the weather would be good, but all in all the whole experience was amazing," she concluded, reflecting on the balance of challenges and joys.

The Amritsar track in Udne Ki Aasha not only enhanced the show's visual appeal but also left the cast with cherished memories of cultural immersion and culinary indulgence, making it a standout segment in the series.
