Omi In A Hellcat, whose real name is Bill Omar Carrasquillo, is a 39-year-old content creator from New Jersey with strong ties to Philadelphia. He gained fame in the late 2010s through YouTube videos that showcased luxury cars, custom vehicle builds, jewelry, and an extravagant lifestyle. At his peak, his channel boasted over 800,000 subscribers.
However, federal prosecutors revealed a darker side to his wealth. They stated that much of his fortune came from an illegal IPTV business. This operation secretly generated millions of dollars by distributing pirated television content.
The Illegal IPTV Operation
According to federal authorities, Carrasquillo ran an illegal service named Gears TV Reloaded between 2016 and 2019. The business sold modified Amazon Firesticks and monthly subscriptions. These gave users access to more than 1,000 pirated TV channels, movies, live sports, and pay-per-view events.
The content was taken without permission from major providers like Comcast, Verizon FiOS, and DirecTV. Investigators later determined that the business earned more than $30 million in revenue.
Legal Consequences and Sentencing
Carrasquillo and several accomplices faced multiple federal charges. These included copyright infringement, wire fraud, money laundering, and tax evasion. In 2022, he pleaded guilty to 62 charges. A year later, in 2023, he received a 66-month federal prison sentence. He was also given three years of supervised release.
The court ordered him to forfeit around $30 million worth of assets. This included cash, jewelry, property, and 57 automobiles. All these items were later auctioned off.

Carrasquillo was released near January 6, 2026, after serving approximately three years. He received an early release due to his exemplary conduct and the time he had already served. His release closes a chapter that began in 2019 when federal investigators first examined his activities.
