KLS GIT's AURA 2K26 Festival Draws Thousands with Mohit Chauhan Finale in Belagavi

The KLS Gogte Institute of Technology (KLS GIT) in Belagavi successfully concluded its annual cultural and technical extravaganza, AURA 2K26, from March 11 to 14. This four-day festival brought together a massive gathering of students to celebrate talent, creativity, and innovation across various domains.

Festival Highlights and Diverse Events

The event featured an extensive array of activities designed to engage participants. Key segments included dance, drama, music performances, e-sports competitions, fashion shows, literary contests, photography exhibitions, quizzes, and fine arts displays. Additionally, several campus-wide special activities were organized to foster a spirit of collaboration and excitement.

More than 3,200 students from institutions across Belagavi, Bengaluru, and nearby cities actively participated, making it a significant regional gathering. The festival served as a platform for young minds to showcase their skills and network with peers from diverse academic backgrounds.

Grand Finale with Mohit Chauhan Concert

A major highlight of AURA 2K26 was the grand concert on March 14, headlined by renowned playback singer Mohit Chauhan. His performance attracted a large and enthusiastic audience, providing a spectacular finale to the festival. The concert was widely praised for its energy and musical excellence, leaving attendees with memorable experiences.

Championship Results and Awards Ceremony

In the overall championship, KLE Dr MS Sheshgiri College of Engineering from Belagavi emerged as the winner. The championship trophy was presented by Mohit Chauhan himself, alongside members of the KLS management, during a formal ceremony that recognized the achievements of participating teams.

Organizational Support and Dignitaries Present

The event was organized under the aegis of the Karnataka Law Society (KLS), with strong support from its leadership. Key dignitaries in attendance included KLS president PS Sawkar, vice-presidents RB Bhandare and DV Kulkarni, secretaries VM Deshpande and SV Ganachari, chairman AK Tagare, and governing council chairman RK Belgaumkar.

From KLS GIT, principal MS Patil, dean SP Deshpande, cultural head Apurva Adyapak, and numerous faculty members were present to oversee and contribute to the festival's success. Their involvement ensured smooth execution and a high standard of organization throughout the four-day event.
