The beloved cast of Stranger Things has delivered some surprising revelations about their favourite seasons and each other's habits in a candid new interview, just as fans across India eagerly await the final season's premiere.
Millie Bobby Brown's Season Rankings Spark Debate
During a revealing session with Vanity Fair on YouTube, Millie Bobby Brown didn't hold back when asked to rank all the Stranger Things seasons from best to worst. The actress placed Season 1 at the top of her list, citing nostalgic reasons and calling it "the most exciting time in my life."
Her complete ranking surprised many: Season 1 as the best, followed by the upcoming Season 5, then Season 3, Season 4, and finally Season 2 at the bottom. Brown explained her reasoning, stating that Season 2 feels like "a bit of a blur" and acknowledging the widespread criticism of Episode 7.
When co-star Finn Wolfhard attempted to agree with her assessment, Brown quickly shut him down, prompting the actor to retract his statement in a moment of lighthearted tension among the close-knit cast.
Who's the Messiest Cast Member?
The conversation took an amusing turn when Caleb McLaughlin was asked about which cast member would be most comfortable living in the show's terrifying Upside Down world. McLaughlin interpreted the question differently, using it as an opportunity to rank his co-stars based on their cleanliness.
McLaughlin declared himself the cleanest cast member, followed by Millie Bobby Brown, Sadie Sink, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, and finally Gaten Matarazzo at the very bottom. The young actor joked that "the Upside Down would be uncomfortable with him," suggesting Matarazzo's messiness would even overwhelm the supernatural dimension.
Matarazzo didn't deny the allegations, instead recalling a funny incident where he had to run ahead of his co-stars to ensure his messy room door was closed before anyone could peek inside. Wolfhard added fuel to the fire by sharing that Matarazzo often leaves plates in his bed and sometimes falls asleep fully dressed with shoes on.
Music Taste and Final Season Details
The entertainment continued when the conversation turned to music preferences. Gaten Matarazzo was asked who he wouldn't trust with the aux cable during a road trip, and his answer sent the entire group into fits of laughter.
Matarazzo named Noah Schnapp as the least trustworthy DJ, explaining that it wasn't about disliking his taste but rather not knowing what it was. The declaration left Schnapp in mock shock, requiring reassurance from Millie Bobby Brown about his musical preferences.
Brown comforted Schnapp by saying, "You have beautiful taste in music, and actually it's very similar to mine. So it would be the both of us, and I agree, our taste sucks. Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter and Charlie XCX are just all very basic."
The final season of Stranger Things will premiere in India on November 27, with the first volume arriving on that date. The second volume follows on Christmas, and the series finale will stream on December 31, marking the end of one of Netflix's most successful shows ever created by Matt and Ross Duffer.
