The deceased has been identified as Rajesh Gupta, a resident of Talkipada in Rajgangpur. He had arrived at the scenic nature camp on Friday along with his family members to commemorate his wedding anniversary. The celebration took a devastating turn on Saturday morning when Gupta, while taking a leisurely walk with his wife, suddenly began feeling unwell and experienced severe discomfort.
Immediate medical attention was sought, and he was rushed to the Bonai sub-divisional hospital. Despite the efforts of medical professionals, doctors at the hospital declared him dead upon arrival.
