Minimum temperatures ranged from 21.2°C to 21.5°C, contributing to what the IMD has flagged as "warm night" conditions expected from April 21 to 23. These elevated nighttime temperatures can exacerbate heat stress and discomfort for residents.

The heat is not confined to Gurgaon alone. Across Haryana, maximum temperatures were recorded at nearly 3.9°C above normal. Rohtak registered the state's highest temperature at 42.3°C, highlighting the widespread nature of the heatwave.
Statewide data reveals that the average minimum temperature has increased by 1.3°C in the past 24 hours and remains 2.1°C above normal levels. This persistent elevation in both day and night temperatures underscores the severity of the current weather pattern.
Forecast Predicts Further Temperature Increase
The IMD's Chandigarh centre forecast indicates that maximum temperatures are likely to rise by another 3–5°C over the next five to six days. Heatwave conditions are expected at isolated places on April 21, 22, and 23, with warm nights persisting during this same period.
Before the heat intensifies further, isolated thunderstorm activity may provide brief relief. However, conditions are expected to turn dry thereafter, which will likely accelerate the temperature rise across the region.

- Prevailing upper-air circulation over southwest Rajasthan
- A western disturbance influencing northern regions
While a fresh western disturbance is likely to affect the western Himalayan region from April 23, it is not expected to significantly ease heat conditions in the plains immediately. This means residents should prepare for sustained high temperatures in the coming days.
