A severe LPG cylinder explosion occurred inside a residential building in northwest Delhi's Swaroop Nagar on Wednesday afternoon, resulting in injuries to six individuals, including two children. The incident has raised serious concerns about safety protocols in urban households.

The explosion took place around 4 PM on the ground floor of a three-storey building located in Gali No. 15 of Swaroop Nagar. According to officials, a family was cooking at the time, and the blast caused injuries to those present inside the house as well as nearby residents. The Delhi Fire Services received an emergency call and swiftly dispatched four fire tenders along with nearly 20 firefighters to the scene to manage the situation and provide assistance.
Victims and Medical Condition
All six injured individuals were immediately rushed to a hospital for treatment. The victims have been identified as Aryan (13), Arushi (11), their mother Rekha (35), Rajeev Kumar (30), Virender (36), and Krishna (7). Medical reports indicate that the condition of some of the injured is serious, highlighting the severity of the explosion. Authorities are closely monitoring their recovery progress.
