A tragic incident occurred in Tajpur village under Tankuppa block of Gaya district on Wednesday, where a two-and-a-half-year-old girl lost her life after accidentally falling into a bucket filled with water.
The deceased, Shanvi Kumari, was the daughter of Virendra Kumar. She was playing inside her house when she approached a bucket that contained water. In an unfortunate turn of events, she lost her balance and fell headfirst into the bucket. Unable to free herself, she suffocated and died.
The incident came to light when her mother and other family members began searching for her and discovered the child trapped in the bucket. She was immediately rushed to a nearby government hospital, but doctors declared her brought dead upon arrival.
