Father Files FIR Alleging Dual Negligence

The victim's father has taken formal legal action by lodging a First Information Report (FIR) with the Sadar police station. In his complaint, he has made serious allegations, claiming that his son's death resulted from both medical negligence and the consumption of contaminated food from the restaurant.

Acting promptly on this complaint, police have registered a formal case and taken the decisive step of sealing the restaurant, which is located on Collectorate Road. This preventive measure aims to prevent further potential harm while investigations proceed.

Forensic Investigation and Medical Examination Underway

A specialized forensic team has been deployed to collect crucial evidence, gathering food samples from both the victim's residence and the sealed restaurant premises. These samples have been dispatched to a laboratory for detailed examination and analysis.

In a parallel development, the SDO has issued directives to the food inspector, instructing them to collect additional samples and ensure comprehensive testing to detect any toxic substances that might be present.

Medical Board Constituted for Thorough Postmortem Analysis

Recognizing the seriousness of the situation, Deputy Superintendent of Sadar Hospital, Dr. Vinod Kumar Singh, established a three-member medical board to conduct a meticulous investigation. This board comprises Dr. Shahil Raj, Dr. Shitesh Kumar, and Dr. Santosh Kumar Singh.

The medical board has performed the postmortem examination and preserved viscera samples from the deceased. These preserved samples will be sent to either a Forensic Science Laboratory or a chemical examiner for specialized analysis to determine the precise cause of death.

Authorities have emphasized that further legal and administrative actions will be determined based on the conclusive findings from both the forensic reports and the medical examination results. The community awaits answers as investigations continue to unfold.
