Abhishek's father, Ashok Singh, a farmer from Hanumanganj Ramnathpur in Prayagraj, revealed that the family had spent lakhs of rupees seeking treatment from Delhi to Chandigarh. Eventually, specialists concluded that a kidney transplant was the only viable solution to save his life.

Approximately six months ago, the family turned to the nephrology outpatient department at SRN Hospital, where Dr. Saumya Gupta evaluated Abhishek's case.
