Sharing the details of her holistic retreat, Mira Kapoor described undergoing several traditional therapies. She began with 'abhayanga', a form of Ayurvedic oil massage she referred to as the ABC of any detox. This was followed by 'shirodhara', a treatment focusing on the head and neck. The highlight for her, however, was the 'potli massage'.

"Today I did a potli massage," she said, explaining that this therapy works on the torso to reduce inflammation in the muscles surrounding the spine. The herbal pouches or 'potlis' used in the massage are known to help detoxify muscles and tissues. Kapoor capped her day with a sound healing session, which she found particularly powerful. "I felt like there was a lot of emotion purging, and so many feelings I had pushed down and needed to address. The sound healing session was just fantastic," she shared.
