Foundation's Cultural Mission and Student Development
Mohan Alva emphasized that Alva's Samskritika Vaibhava represents more than just a cultural show – it's a celebration of India's diverse heritage that brings together tradition, diversity, and meaningful social messages aimed at fostering a progressive society.
The participating students are beneficiaries of various foundation schemes and undergo rigorous daily rehearsals after their regular classes. Since the initiative's inception following the Vishwa Nudisiri-Virasat program in 2012-13, these talented performers have staged over 500 performances across different regions as part of the foundation's extensive outreach efforts.
The Alva's Nudisiri–Virasat program has expanded significantly, with 78 active units now established across India and abroad. This growing network reflects the foundation's commitment to nurturing culturally aware students while contributing to the development of a culturally enriched society.
Through this initiative, the foundation aims to create a platform where traditional arts thrive alongside contemporary expressions, ultimately working toward building a society that values its cultural roots while embracing progressive values.
