Students from SD College, Sector 32, Chandigarh, delivered a graceful and mesmerizing Nati performance that left the audience spellbound. Their elegant movements and synchronization perfectly captured the essence of this traditional Himachali dance form.
Following this, local residents presented an energetic group performance that infused the atmosphere with vitality and joy. The rhythmic beats of traditional instruments combined with vibrant costumes to create a truly festive and uplifting ambiance throughout the event.

Adding to the traditional spirit of the celebration, organizers prepared a complete Himachali dham using firewood, maintaining authentic cooking methods. The meal was served in the traditional style on pattals (leaf plates), with participants seated on the ground as per customary practice.

Event organizer Pardeep Gupta revealed that this celebration has been held for three consecutive years, demonstrating its growing importance within the community. "What began as a small gathering in Omaxe has now expanded to include residents from across the entire area," Gupta explained.
"Our primary aim is to preserve the rich Himachali culture and ensure it is passed on to younger generations. Events like these help maintain our cultural identity while fostering community bonds," he added, emphasizing the educational and unifying aspects of the celebration.
