Kumar Vishwas Lauds Magh Mela Arrangements in Prayagraj

Renowned poet Kumar Vishwas expressed strong appreciation for the government's arrangements at the ongoing Magh Mela in Prayagraj on Monday. He specifically highlighted significant improvements in key infrastructure areas that benefit devotees traveling to the religious gathering.

Infrastructure Improvements Noted

Speaking to reporters at the Magh Mela Kshetra, Vishwas pointed out visible enhancements in transportation facilities. He stated that the airport, railway station, and roads have become very good. According to the poet, these improvements demonstrate the administration's commitment to ensuring proper facilities for pilgrims arriving from across India.

Cultural Renaissance Moment

Vishwas described the current period as a time for cultural renaissance. He extended heartiest best wishes to all devotees participating in the Magh Mela. The poet emphasized both the spiritual and cultural significance of this annual gathering that draws millions to Prayagraj.

Devotees Confirm Positive Experience

Other visitors echoed Vishwas's positive assessment. Ravi Shukla, a devotee from Deoria in Uttar Pradesh, shared his wonderful experience at the mela. He reported taking a holy dip in the Ganga without facing any problems. Shukla confirmed that the government has made good arrangements to accommodate devotees properly.

Large-Scale Participation Continues

Devotees continued arriving in substantial numbers on Monday to take holy dips at Sangam. The ritual bathing began at midnight, with Prayagraj District Magistrate Manish Kumar Verma noting strong pilgrim influx since morning. Despite heavy fog conditions throughout the night, the flow of devotees remained steady.

Special Ceremonial Touches

Earlier during Mauni Amavasya celebrations, flower petals were showered on devotees arriving for snaan at Sangam. A helicopter performed this floral shower over the large gathering present on the Ghat for holy dips. This ceremonial gesture added to the spiritual atmosphere of the ongoing Magh Mela.

Administrative Measures in Place

District Magistrate Verma reported that approximately three crore devotees had taken holy dips by noon. He confirmed the Magh Mela is proceeding in an organized manner with security officials deployed across all sectors. These measures ensure safety throughout the area as the religious event continues.

The positive feedback from both prominent figures like Kumar Vishwas and ordinary devotees suggests successful planning and execution of this year's Magh Mela arrangements in Prayagraj.
