Mangaluru is set to host a significant gathering as Lions District 317D, Region III prepares to organise the 'Parikrama' region meet this Saturday. This event promises to bring together a substantial assembly of Lions members, with expectations of drawing more than 500 participants from various clubs across Region III.

The 'Parikrama' meet will feature an impressive lineup of guests and activities. According to Gayathri Aravinda Rao Kedige, Region III region chairperson, who addressed reporters on Thursday, the programme will be formally inaugurated by Dr Kedige Aravinda Rao. Adding to the prestige of the occasion, Prof Balakrishna Shetty, retired principal of Kateel Sri Durgaparameshwari First Grade College, has been invited as the chief guest.

The event will see participation from numerous Lions clubs from Region III, including prominent names such as Balmatta, Gandhinagar, Mangaladevi, Metrogold, Netravathi, Panjikal, and several others.
