The festival of Eid al-Fitr was celebrated with profound religious devotion across Nagpur, as thousands of members from the Muslim community assembled at various Eidgahs and open grounds to perform prayers and exchange heartfelt greetings. A particularly large congregation gathered at the Jaffar Nagar Eidgah Ground, where prayers were led by Imam Rahmatullah of the Jaffar Nagar Jama Masjid. In his sermon, he strongly emphasized the core values of peace, communal harmony, and overall well-being. Addressing the assembly, Rizwanur Rahman Khan, the former state president of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Maharashtra, urged the community to deeply emulate the teachings of the Holy Quran and the exemplary life of Prophet Muhammad in their daily lives.
