Swami Nischalananda Saraswati also cautioned against modern development trends. He said that turning a place of penance into a tourist centre means transforming it into a place of indulgence.
Today, this is what is often called development, but in reality, it represents destruction. He urged preserving the sanctity of such spiritual sites.
