Major Donation for Annaprasadam Distribution
In a significant gesture, Bhashyam Ramakrishna, the esteemed chairman of Bhashyam educational institutions, donated an impressive sum of Rs 44 crore specifically for a full-day Annaprasadam distribution at Tirumala. This generous contribution was made to commemorate the birthday of Andhra Pradesh's IT minister, Nara Lokesh, highlighting the intersection of philanthropy and celebration.
Ramakrishna personally visited the camp office of TTD chairman BR Naidu in Tirumala to formally hand over the donation, ensuring a direct and respectful transfer of funds for this noble cause.
Additional Contributions from Hyderabad-Based Firm
Further enriching the day's donations, Hyderabad-based PL Raju Constructions contributed Rs 2.5 crore to various trusts managed by the TTD. The donation was presented by Raja Gopal Raju to AEO Ch Venkaiah Chowdary, with TTD board member G Bhanu Prakash Reddy in attendance, inside the sacred premises of the Tirumala temple on Friday morning.
Allocation of the Rs 2.5 Crore Donation
The Rs 2.5 crore donation was meticulously allocated across multiple TTD trusts to support diverse charitable activities:
- Rs 75 lakh each to the Sri Venkateswara Pranadanam Trust and the SV Vidyadana Trust.
- Rs 50 lakh to the BIRRD Trust.
- Rs 25 lakh each to the SV Annadanam Trust and the SV Go Samrakshana Trust.
