Cultural and Spiritual Significance Highlighted at Varsh Pratipada Utsav
At the Varsh Pratipada Utsav held in Shivala area's Ratnaker Park, organized by Ganga Nagar, Kashi Vibhag Sanghchalak Jayprakash Lal addressed a gathered audience. He elaborated on the cultural and spiritual importance of Bharatiya Nav Varsh, emphasizing that this day signifies not merely a calendar change but a profound transformation in nature itself.
According to ancient traditions, Lord Brahma initiated the creation of the universe on Chaitra Shukla Pratipada. This date is also historically linked to the coronation of Yudhishthir and the inception of the Vikram Samvat calendar.
