A 43-year-old law graduate has become an internet sensation across China after sharing his heartbreaking story of marital collapse following the loss of his high-paying job. The man, identified as Qianqian, saw his marriage crumble when his financial situation changed dramatically.
From Luxury Lifestyle to Delivery Rider
Qianqian previously enjoyed a prosperous career at a state-owned company where he earned approximately 50,000 yuan (₹6.23 lakh) per month. His life took a drastic turn five years ago when he lost his job for unspecified reasons. The former professional now works as a delivery rider, making less than 10,000 yuan (₹1.24 lakh) monthly.
The financial downfall exposed the true nature of his marriage. According to Qianqian's account on 163.com, his wife demanded a divorce shortly after his income dropped significantly. He realized she had only married him for his money and spending capacity rather than genuine affection.
