As the Holy Month of Ramadan approaches, Global Village in Dubai has officially confirmed its detailed operating hours and comprehensive programme for the upcoming season. The destination is preparing to transform into a vibrant evening hub focused on culture, culinary delights, and community gatherings throughout Ramadan.
Extended Operating Hours for Ramadan Evenings
Now celebrating its landmark 30th season, Global Village will adopt a night-focused schedule during Ramadan. The destination will open daily at 5:00 PM, with closing times varying throughout the week. From Sunday to Wednesday, the park will close at 1:00 AM, while from Thursday to Saturday, operating hours extend until 2:00 AM.
This schedule shift is designed to accommodate families and groups seeking post-iftar gatherings and late-night outings in the open-air setting. From the very first evening of Ramadan, visitors can expect a transformed atmosphere perfect for evening social activities.
Ramadan-Themed Decor and Atmosphere
Throughout the Holy Month, Global Village will be adorned with traditional Ramadan-themed decorations that create a festive yet serene environment. The park will feature glowing lanterns, crescent motifs, warm ambient lighting, and dedicated photo installations strategically placed across the venue.
These decorative elements work together to establish a calm yet celebratory atmosphere that authentically reflects the spiritual essence of the Ramadan season, providing visitors with an immersive cultural experience.
Multaqa: A New Gathering Space Inspired by Traditional Majlis
One of the most significant additions for Ramadan 2025 is Multaqa Global Village, a complimentary tent-style seating area inspired by traditional majlis gatherings. This innovative space is specifically designed to encourage social interaction and community bonding.
Located conveniently in front of the Main Stage, Multaqa features comfortable seating arrangements, soft festoon lighting, and a welcoming layout that invites visitors to pause, converse, and spend quality time together. Guests are welcome to bring food from nearby kiosks and can rent traditional games from the on-site team, creating a relaxed environment suitable for iftar, suhoor, or late-night visits.
Live Entertainment and Cultural Performances
Ramadan nights at Global Village will feature a carefully curated lineup of live entertainment on the Main Stage. The performance schedule includes traditional musical presentations featuring Orchestra, Oud, Nay, Harp, and Violin performances, alongside the captivating traditional Tannoura show.
Special programming highlights include Akher Kalam, hosted by Maitha Mohammed, running from February 18 to March 18 at 11:00 PM. Additionally, Al Mandoos Live Game Show, hosted by Abdulla Esmaeel, will take place at 9:30 PM across three consecutive weekends beginning Friday, February 20. A spectacular drone show is also scheduled for February 20 at 9:30 PM.

Visitors during Ramadan can explore an impressive selection of 250 dining options offering global flavours perfect for iftar and suhoor meals. Shopping enthusiasts can browse through 30 cultural pavilions representing over 90 different cultures from around the world.
The popular Ramadan Step Challenge returns via the Global Village mobile application, rewarding guests who complete 10,000 steps during a single visit. This wellness initiative encourages physical activity while exploring the expansive destination.
