Provisional data from the Department of Tourism reveals specific figures. Domestic tourists accounted for 1,02,84,608 arrivals. International visitors numbered 5,17,802. These numbers continue the positive momentum from 2024 when total arrivals exceeded 1.04 crore.

Government Officials Celebrate Tourism Resilience

Tourism Minister Rohan A. Khaunte expressed satisfaction with the results. He stated these figures demonstrate the resilience of Goa's tourism sector. The minister highlighted successful growth initiatives and improved destination readiness.

International Travel Shows Strong Recovery

International tourism made significant contributions in 2025. The state received 189 charter flights carrying 40,336 foreign tourists. Scheduled international flights through Dabolim and Mopa airports numbered 1,784. These flights brought 2,35,798 foreign visitors to Goa.

Cruise tourism maintained its momentum throughout the year. Thirty-seven vessels arrived with 51,510 passengers. This included 10,086 foreign tourists and 41,424 domestic cruise passengers.
