Pallas's Cat
With its dense fur, flattened face, and perpetually grumpy expression, the Pallas's cat is unlike any other feline in India. This small cat inhabits cold, high-altitude mountainous regions and is extremely difficult to spot. While jungle cats rely on agility to navigate trees, the Pallas's cat uses camouflage and freezes when threatened.

Clouded Leopard
The clouded leopard is one of the rarest and most elusive big cats in India. Named for its cloud-shaped spots, this arboreal cat spends most of its time in the forest canopy.
