Star Air's New Year Sale: Flights from ₹1,799 to Boost Regional Travel
Star Air New Year Sale: Fares Start at ₹1,799

In a move set to make regional air travel more accessible, Bengaluru-based Star Air has unveiled a special promotional fare sale to ring in the New Year. The campaign, tagged "New Year, New Horizons with Star," offers all-inclusive one-way tickets at highly competitive prices, starting as low as ₹1,799 on select routes.

Sale Details and Booking Window

The limited-period offer is open for bookings from December 24 to December 31, 2025. Passengers who book within this window can plan their trips with a long travel validity, as tickets can be used for journeys up to September 2026. The airline has clarified that seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis across its network, covering both regional and metro destinations.

Example Routes and Attractive Pricing

The sale features several key routes with enticing price points. Fares begin at ₹1,799 on sectors such as Ahmedabad to Jamnagar. Other routes are also included in the promotion, with tickets priced at ₹2,026 for journeys like Bhubaneswar to Jharsuguda and back, Diu to Ahmedabad and back, and Kolkata to Pakyong and back.

Focus on Affordable Regional Connectivity

Announcing the sale, Shilpa Bhatia, Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer at Star Air, stated that the initiative mirrors the airline's commitment to enhancing affordability and strengthening regional air links. The New Year sale is strategically designed to encourage travellers to plan their 2026 trips early, especially on routes that are traditionally underserved by direct air services.

Star Air, which is the aviation arm of the Sanjay Ghodawat Group, operates with a distinct regional airline model. It focuses on connecting Tier-II and Tier-III cities with major metropolitan hubs. The carrier primarily uses turboprop aircraft and positions itself as a key player in India's regional connectivity landscape, aligning with the government's UDAN (Ude Desh Ka Aam Naagrik) scheme. This framework aims to make air travel affordable and widespread on short-haul routes with limited or no existing direct air services.

This promotional fare sale represents one of the lowest fare opportunities of the year from the airline, directly supporting its mission to bridge connectivity gaps and make flying a viable option for more Indians.
