In another major move, Lieutenant General S M Kamrul Hasan, the principal staff officer (PSO), has been replaced by the recently promoted Lieutenant General Mir Mushfiqur Rahman. Hasan is now attached to the foreign ministry and is slated for an ambassadorial appointment abroad, marking a strategic redeployment of senior military expertise.

The reshuffle also extends to the Directorate General of Forces Intelligence (DGFI), with Major General Kaiser Rashid Chowdhury appointed as its new director general.
