According to Abhinav Siddarth, the senior divisional commercial manager at Danapur, the division faced a serious problem on Wednesday. Half a dozen long-distance mail and express trains experienced illegal detentions. Alarm chain pulling caused these unauthorized stoppages at different locations.
"The unauthorised stoppages not only affected the punctuality of trains but also caused inconvenience to the passengers," Siddarth stated clearly. He emphasized the widespread impact of such actions.
