External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has reiterated India's steadfast and unwavering commitment to strengthening its long-standing partnership and cherished friendship with Russia. This declaration came during a significant conference titled India and Russia: Towards a New Bilateral Agenda, where both nations emphasized their deepening ties amidst global geopolitical shifts.
Lavrov Applauds India's Independent Foreign Policy Stance
In a parallel address, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov lauded India's independent foreign policy, which he described as being firmly focused on national interests. Lavrov highlighted that Russia highly appreciates New Delhi's approach, particularly within the framework of its course for strategic autonomy.
