During this high-level interaction, Jaishankar conveyed heartfelt gratitude on behalf of the Indian government for the UAE's steadfast efforts in ensuring the safety and well-being of the Indian community amid the recent West Asia conflict.

Strengthening Bilateral Ties and Strategic Partnership

In his discussions, Jaishankar extended warm greetings from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasizing the strong bond between the two nations. The talks focused on deepening the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, with both sides exploring new avenues for enhanced cooperation in various sectors. Jaishankar highlighted the importance of the UAE's guidance in fortifying this partnership, which has been a cornerstone of India's foreign policy in the region.

Following the meeting, Jaishankar shared insights on social media platform X, stating, "Deeply honoured to call on President of UAE HH Mohamed Bin Zayed in Abu Dhabi today. Conveyed warm greetings of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and our gratitude for ensuring well-being of the Indian community during the West Asia conflict." He further added, "Thank him for his guidance on further strengthening the India-UAE Comprehensive Strategic Partnership."

Additional Engagement with Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed

During his visit, Jaishankar also met with Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, where he reiterated India's appreciation for the UAE's ongoing support for the Indian diaspora, particularly in Dubai. He noted, "Good to see HH Hamdan Mohammed during the call. Conveyed the appreciation of our Government for ensuring the welfare of the Indian community in Dubai." This meeting underscored the UAE's commitment to the welfare of Indian expatriates, who form a vital part of the country's multicultural fabric.
