During his visit to Chunar Junction, which is currently undergoing a major transformation under the Amrit Station Scheme, General Manager Naresh Pal Singh meticulously reviewed all ongoing construction and modernization activities. He examined critical aspects including station modernization, platform development, cleanliness standards, drinking water availability, lighting systems, and facilities specifically designed for differently abled passengers. The progress of the foot overbridge construction received particular attention during this comprehensive assessment.
The General Manager issued clear directives to officials present, emphasizing the absolute necessity of completing all works within stipulated timelines while maintaining uncompromising quality standards. He reiterated that providing modern facilities and significantly enhancing passenger experience remains the fundamental priority under the Amrit Station Scheme. The inspection continued at Birohi station, where the newly constructed station building along with panel and relay rooms underwent thorough evaluation. Furthermore, Gaipura and Iradatganj stations received detailed attention, with the General Manager examining ongoing construction activities and reviewing future expansion plans designed to accommodate growing passenger traffic and operational requirements.
