President Trump had earlier congratulated PM Modi, praising him as a 'wise man' and a 'great one.' On Truth Social, Trump wrote, 'Congratulations to my friend, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on becoming India's longest-serving Prime Minister - And a Great One he is! He is a strong, healthy, and wise man, and will have many years of Greatness and Success ahead of him!'
Apple CEO Tim Cook also congratulated PM Modi, appreciating his support for innovation. Cook posted on X, 'Congratulations on becoming the longest serving prime minister elected in India's history, and thank you for supporting innovation that enriches people's lives.'
Additionally, PM Modi thanked Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali for his warm wishes. Recalling their meeting in Ethiopia last year, Modi expressed hope for continued close cooperation for mutual benefit and for the Global South. Abiy Ahmed Ali had congratulated Modi on leading India with vision across three consecutive democratic mandates, highlighting his governance in lifting millions out of poverty and driving infrastructure growth.
PM Modi also thanked Maldives President Mohamed Muizzu, reaffirming India's commitment to strengthen bilateral ties. Muizzu conveyed warm congratulations and expressed the Maldives' desire to further cooperation based on mutual respect and shared interests.
