Bihar Election Exit Polls: Final Predictions Today
Political attention in Bihar remains focused on the upcoming exit poll results from Axis My India, scheduled for release today, Wednesday, November 12, 2025. The prominent polling agency led by psephologist Pradeep Gupta will announce its findings at 5:30 PM through social media platforms, following most other agencies that released their predictions on Tuesday.
What Previous Exit Polls Reveal
At least nine different exit polls published on Tuesday projected a decisive victory for the National Democratic Alliance led by Nitish Kumar's Janata Dal (United) and the Bharatiya Janata Party. The NDA is expected to secure between 133 and 167 seats in the 243-member Bihar Legislative Assembly, comfortably crossing the majority mark of 122 seats.
The opposition Mahagathbandhan, comprising the Rashtriya Janata Dal, Congress, and Left parties, is projected to win between 73 and 102 seats. The debutant Jan Suraaj Party led by Prashant Kishor is expected to make a minimal impact, with projections showing the party securing zero to five seats.
Axis My India's Track Record Under Scrutiny
Axis My India has previously claimed high accuracy in its election predictions, but recent performances have drawn scrutiny. The agency's exit poll results for the Chhattisgarh assembly elections 2023, Lok Sabha election 2024, and Haryana assembly elections showed significant deviations from actual outcomes.
In the recent 2025 Delhi Assembly Elections, Axis My India predicted 15-20 seats for AAP and 45-55 seats for BJP, with zero seats for Congress. The actual results saw BJP winning 48 seats while AAP secured 22 seats, with Congress indeed failing to win any seats.
Another polling agency, Today's Chanakya, has also announced it will release its Bihar exit poll analysis today, adding to the anticipation surrounding the final predictions.
As political workers prepare for the official results, the delay in Axis My India's announcement has generated additional interest in whether their findings will align with the consensus projecting an NDA victory in the two-phase Bihar elections.
