The Election Commission (EC) is set to deploy 35 companies of the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) for the repoll at the Falta assembly constituency, scheduled for May 21. According to sources, eight personnel will be stationed at each polling booth to ensure security and smooth conduct of the voting process.

Security Measures and Quick Response Teams

In addition to the CAPF deployment, the EC has arranged 30 Quick Response Teams (QRTs) to enable immediate intervention in case of any disturbance or untoward incident. These teams will be strategically positioned to respond swiftly to any emerging situations, thereby maintaining law and order throughout the repoll.
