The Jhajjar administration is set to launch the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) campaign from June 15, under which Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will conduct door-to-door visits across the district. This was announced by District Election Officer Varsha Khangwal during a press conference on Wednesday.
Campaign Details
Khangwal stated that the exercise will be carried out in strict accordance with the directions of the Election Commission of India. She urged citizens and political parties to actively cooperate in the revision process. The revision exercise will be undertaken with July 1, 2026, as the qualifying date.
Preparatory Phase
Training of Booth Level Agents (BLAs), BLOs, and supervisors, along with the printing and distribution of forms, will be completed by June 14. From June 15, BLOs will visit households across the four assembly constituencies—Jhajjar, Bahadurgarh, Badli, and Beri—to distribute voter verification forms. Electors will be required to fill, sign, and return these forms during subsequent visits.
