On Tuesday, District Election Officer Jitendra Pratap Singh officially announced the completion of this crucial task. The publication was carried out in accordance with the schedule set by the Election Commission of India (ECI). The work under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) was finalized in Kanpur city on January 6, 2026.

Recognition for Booth Level Officers' Tireless Effort

Singh took the opportunity to publicly commend the enormous contribution of the ground-level workforce. He highlighted the commendable cooperation, dedication, and hard work of all 3,620 Booth Level Officers (BLOs) involved in the campaign. The officer also extended his gratitude to the families of these BLOs, whose support was instrumental in making the exercise a success.

In a special mention, the District Election Officer acknowledged the role of women BLOs. He noted that they worked tirelessly throughout the revision process. Singh termed the combined efforts of all officers and their supporting families as highly praiseworthy.
