NDA's Landslide Victory in Bihar 2025 Sparks BJP Celebrations
NDA Wins Bihar 2025, BJP Workers Celebrate

Celebrations erupted with fervent joy among Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers in Patna and New Delhi on Friday as the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) powered towards a colossal victory in the Bihar Assembly Election 2025.

Scenes of Jubilation Grip Party Offices

Viral videos from the day captured the unbridled euphoria of party supporters. In one clip, workers celebrated with a chariot proudly displaying the face of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. A party member, overwhelmed with emotion, told news agency ANI, "Dhairya rakho mere bhagwan Modi par."

The scenes grew even more energetic on social media, where other videos showed party workers dancing with abandon, some even rolling on the ground in sheer delight as the loud beats of drums filled the air. The festivities were a collective release of joy, marked by the distribution of sweets and the bursting of firecrackers.

Bihar BJP chief Dilip Jaiswal actively participated in the merriment, posing for photographs with other leaders and workers. He expressed his gratitude, stating, "I thank the voters of Bihar for supporting the PM Modi-Nitish Kumar-led NDA." He also announced a 'Vijay Utsav' scheduled for 5 PM at the BJP office in Patna, signaling more celebrations to come. Prime Minister Modi is also expected to address party workers from the BJP headquarters in New Delhi later in the evening.

NDA Set to Break Historical Record

The exuberant mood was firmly rooted in the decisive election trends. The BJP emerged as the single largest party, winning 91 seats. The broader NDA alliance is poised for an even bigger achievement, projected to surpass its previous record of 206 seats set in 2010.

The other alliance partners also put up a strong performance. The Nitish Kumar-led JD(U) was leading in 81 seats, while the Chirag Paswan-led LJP(RV) was ahead in 21 seats. The Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) and Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) were leading in four seats each.

In stark contrast, the opposition Mahagathbandhan had a disappointing outcome. The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), which some exit polls predicted would be the largest party, was leading in only 27 seats. The Congress and left parties fared worse, with the INC and CPI(ML) leading in four seats each, and the CPI(M) in just one.

Eyes Now Turn to West Bengal

The resounding victory in Bihar sent political ripples beyond the state, all the way to West Bengal, which is scheduled for elections next year. Bengal's Leader of the Opposition and BJP leader, Suvendu Adhikari, was quick to comment on the NDA's performance, confidently asserting that Bengal would be next.

"Ek hi slogan hai- Bihar ki jeet hamari hai, ab Bengali ki baari hai," Adhikari declared, framing the Bihar win as a precursor to future success in the eastern state. This statement indicates that the BJP will leverage this massive mandate to build momentum for its campaign in West Bengal.
