NEET Exam in Thiruvananthapuram: Traffic and Parking Plans

The Thiruvananthapuram city police have introduced special traffic and parking arrangements in view of the NEET examination scheduled to be held in the city on Sunday. The exam will commence at 9:30 AM, and a significant influx of candidates along with accompanying parents is anticipated across multiple examination centres in the city.

Traffic Regulations and Parking Guidelines

As part of the arrangements, vehicles dropping off candidates are instructed not to halt on main roads or cause congestion. After dropping students, vehicles must be moved immediately to designated parking areas. Parking has been permitted at the Attukal Parking Ground and the corporation's multilevel car parking facilities located at Thampanoor and Palayam.

Roadside Parking Allowed on Selected Stretches

In addition, roadside parking will be allowed in a regulated manner along specific stretches. These include Kowdiar–Kuravankonam, Women's College–Vazhuthacaud, Nandavanam–Museum, Sangeetha College–Palayam (via NORKA–Spencer Road), Pulimoodu–Ayurveda College, Attakkulangara–Killipalam Road, PMG–Law College Road, Assembly–Vikas Bhavan Road, AKG–General Hospital Road, Paruthippara–Kesavadasapuram Road, Kesavadasapuram–Plamoodu, Jagathy–Edappazhinji Road, and Model School–Panavila Road.
