Once on the website, navigate to the Services section and select the clearly marked Fill Enumeration Form option. This portal allows users to complete all necessary documentation for the electoral roll revision from their homes.
The step-by-step online procedure requires voters to enter either their mobile number or EPIC number, followed by selecting their state. The system then displays existing electoral data, which voters must carefully verify before proceeding with the enumeration form submission.
Mandatory Requirements for Online Submission
The Election Commission has made EPIC and mobile number linking compulsory for online SIR form submission. An EPIC (Electors Photo Identity Card) is the 10-digit unique identification number issued by the Commission that serves as official voter identification.
For voters whose mobile numbers aren't already linked with their EPIC, the process can be completed instantly through Form-8 on the same portal. Users need to select Correction of Entries in Existing Electoral Roll, followed by the Mobile Number option under Form-8.
