The district administration in Ranchi will hold special camps at all polling stations on Saturday and Sunday to speed up voter mapping ahead of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR). Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer Manjunath Bhajantri announced on Thursday that the camps will operate from 8 am to 4 pm.
Details of the Camps
Booth level officers will be present from 8 am to 4 pm, while those engaged in Census duty will work until 1 pm. Election officials have been instructed to ensure strict monitoring and the presence of BLOs and supervisors. Bhajantri urged all eligible voters to visit their nearest booths with necessary documents and complete their mapping without fail.
Similar special camps were organized in the district on June 6 and 7. The current initiative aims to cover any remaining voters and update electoral rolls before the SIR.
