On Friday, teams from the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation's solid waste management department conducted inspections of 80 units in the North-West Zone. They issued notices to 65 units for littering and using banned plastic.
Seizures and Penalties
A stock of 7 kilograms of prohibited plastic was seized, and a total of Rs 41,000 was collected as penalties from the violators.
Units Sealed
Three units were sealed for littering: Accessories Hub and Mocha Cafe in Bodakdev ward, and Decor Garden Hotel in Chandlodia. Additionally, Dwarkadhish Tea Stall on Rajpath-Rangoli Road in Bodakdev was sealed for using banned plastic.
