The Andhra Pradesh state government executed a significant administrative reshuffle on Monday, transferring 14 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers across various districts and departments. This move aims to streamline governance and fill key vacancies.

Key Transfers in Guntur and Tirupati

In a notable change, P Sreenivasulu, the municipal commissioner of Guntur, has been transferred. He now assumes the role of joint collector and additional district magistrate in Markapuram. Replacing him in Guntur is Kathawate Mayur Ashok, who takes charge as the new municipal commissioner.

Another important shift involves R Govinda Rao, who moves from his position as director of civil supplies. He will now head the Tirupati Urban Development Authority as vice-chairman. Additionally, Rao will hold the additional charge of joint collector in Tirupati. Shrivas Nupur Ajaykumar, previously awaiting posting, steps into Rao's former role as director of civil supplies.

New Joint Collector Appointments Across Districts

The government has appointed several officers as joint collectors in various districts. Kalpana Kumari will serve as joint collector of Prakasam district. Nidhi Meena is set to assume charge as joint collector of Kadapa district once her childcare leave concludes.

In Anantapur district, C Vishnu Charan takes over as joint collector, replacing Shiv Narayan Sharma. Sharma has been transferred to Annamayya district. Mallavarapu Suryateja moves from AP Technologies Services to Anakapalli as joint collector. Adharsh Rajeendran will become the joint collector of Chittoor district.

Gobbilla Vidyadhari has been posted as joint collector of Visakhapatnam district. V Sanjana Simha, previously working as Tenali sub-collector, transfers to Palnadu as joint collector. This move relieves senior IAS officer Kritika Shukla of additional responsibilities in Palnadu.

Other Significant Postings

Gopala Krishna Ronanki receives a transfer to the health, medical and family welfare department, where he will serve as joint secretary. Shobika SS has been appointed as the managing director of the Girijan Cooperative Corporation Ltd, marking a key role in the state's cooperative sector.

These transfers reflect the government's ongoing efforts to optimize administrative efficiency and address staffing needs across Andhra Pradesh. The reshuffle impacts multiple critical positions, ensuring fresh leadership in urban development, civil supplies, and district administration.
