The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has opened a correction facility for candidates who applied for the Constable (Technical & Tradesmen and Pioneer) Recruitment 2026. According to an official notice, applicants can modify their submitted online application forms from May 21 to May 23, 2026.
Correction Window Details
The recruitment drive was announced on April 8, 2026, with an amendment notice on April 17, 2026. CRPF stated that the correction window was introduced after requests from candidates seeking an opportunity to edit details submitted after the registration process closed.
Only candidates whose applications were successfully submitted with the prescribed fee within the timeline are eligible. They can edit one-time registration data and resubmit the revised form. The latest corrected application will be treated as final, with no further modifications allowed after the window closes.
Application Process and Vacancies
The online application process started on April 20, 2026, and continues until May 19, 2026. Applications are accepted through official CRPF recruitment portals. The recruitment includes 9,195 vacancies for Constable (Technical & Tradesmen and Pioneer) posts across trades such as Driver, Motor Mechanic, Cook, Barber, Tailor, Washerman, Safai Karamchari, Mason, and Electrician. Educational qualifications vary by trade, with most requiring Class 10, and some needing ITI certification, experience, or a heavy driving license.
Selection Process
The selection process includes Physical Efficiency Test, Physical Standard Test, Computer Based Test (CBT), Trade or Skill Test, Document Verification, and Medical Examination. The CBT consists of 100 questions for 100 marks covering Reasoning, General Knowledge, Mathematics, and English or Hindi. The exam duration is two hours, with 0.25 marks deducted for each incorrect answer.
