The Mayor directed the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) officials to expedite the desilting of drains and ensure that all stormwater drainage systems are fully functional before the onset of the monsoon. She emphasized the need for a robust sanitation drive to clear garbage and debris from drains and water bodies.
Sanitation Drive Intensified
Oberoi instructed the MCD to launch a special sanitation campaign across all 12 zones of the city. The drive will involve the deployment of additional sanitation workers and the use of modern machinery for cleaning. Emergency Response Teams
The Mayor announced the formation of emergency response teams to handle any monsoon-related emergencies.
