Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini Directs DCs for Effective Grievance Redressal Camps
Haryana CM Orders Publicity for Samadhan Shivir Camps

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has issued strict directives to all Deputy Commissioners (DCs) across the state to ensure widespread public awareness about the Samadhan Shivir grievance redressal camps. The CM emphasized that citizens must be clearly informed about the dates and timings of these camps to facilitate easy registration and timely resolution of their issues.

Key Directives for Effective Complaint Resolution

Chairing a state-level review meeting via video conference on Friday, CM Saini laid down a clear protocol for handling public grievances. He instructed that complaints received during the Samadhan Shivir must be forwarded by the DCs with clear and specific remarks. Crucially, he ordered that no complaint should be closed at the district level until a complete resolution is ensured, preventing premature dismissals.

The Chief Minister stressed that citizens attending these camps should face no inconvenience and that their concerns must be heard with the utmost seriousness and sensitivity. He warned that any negligence by officers at any level would invite strict disciplinary action.

Impressive Track Record and Regular Schedule

During the review, officials presented significant progress data. It was revealed that a total of 17,699 complaints were successfully resolved through the Samadhan Shivir program between July and December 2025.

To maintain this momentum, these grievance redressal camps are held regularly every Monday and Thursday from 10 am to 12 noon. They are organized in all Deputy Commissioner offices and Sub-Divisional Officers (Civil) offices across Haryana, providing citizens with direct access to authorities.

Case-Based Action and Timely Resolution Mandate

Demonstrating a hands-on approach, CM Saini took direct cognizance of a specific complaint regarding water drainage in an Ambala district village. He immediately directed the local DC to form a dedicated committee for its early resolution. The committee is to include the concerned department's Executive Engineer (XEN), the Block Development and Panchayat Officer (BDPO), and a representative from the local market committee.

Reiterating the government's commitment, the Chief Minister directed that all complaints received in these camps must be resolved within a stipulated timeframe. This move aims to build public trust in the administrative machinery and ensure that governance reaches the grassroots level effectively.
