Jaipur Opens Public Registration for Army Day Parade 2024 Rehearsals & Final Show
Jaipur: Public Registration Opens for Army Day Parade

In a move to foster greater public participation and national pride, the Jaipur district administration has officially opened registration for citizens wishing to witness the grandeur of the upcoming Army Day celebrations. The administration announced that general residents can now apply to attend the parade rehearsals as well as the main event, subject to prior confirmation.

How to Register for the Parade

Interested citizens must secure their spot through a mandatory online process. The primary method is to log on to the state government's Single Sign-On (SSO) portal or use the dedicated Rajasthan Citizen App. For those without an existing SSO ID, creating one is the essential first step.

Each SSO ID can be used to apply for a maximum of two confirmations, allowing a family member or friend to be included. Recognizing the need for digital accessibility, the administration has also made the registration facility available at e-Mitra centers across the district.

Simple Steps for Application

Officials have streamlined the process to ensure ease of use. After logging into the SSO portal or app, applicants need to navigate to the 'Army Day Parade Registration' option listed under the Government-to-Citizen (G2C) services category. The registration form is remarkably simple, requiring individuals to fill in just two columns of information.

An official elaborated, 'After successful registration, the applicant will receive a confirmation message via SMS.' This SMS will be crucial as it will contain all necessary instructions for the day, including a detailed route map and parking information to facilitate a smooth experience. Applicants also have the flexibility to select their preferred date from the available options.

Important Dates and Guidelines

The registration window is now active and time-bound. The facility opened on the evening of January 6 and will remain open until January 14. The parade events open to the public are the rehearsals scheduled for January 9, 11, and 13, followed by the main Army Day parade on January 15.

Strict guidelines will be in place to ensure security and order. All registered citizens are required to be at the parade venue by 8:45 AM on their selected day. Furthermore, attendees will not be permitted to leave the venue before the parade concludes, as per the instructions issued by the district authorities.

This initiative by the Jaipur district administration not only allows civilians to witness military discipline and prowess up close but also underscores the use of digital governance tools like the SSO portal for efficient public service delivery.
