Kaithal Deputy Commissioner Aparajita conducted a surprise inspection of various offices at the Mini Secretariat on Friday, reviewing staff attendance, cleanliness, record maintenance, and the quality of services provided to citizens.
Inspection Details
The DC inspected the treasury, tehsil, and several branches linked to her office. She instructed officials to ensure that citizens visiting government offices receive prompt assistance and that their grievances are resolved on a priority basis.
Focus on Citizen-Friendly Governance
Emphasising citizen-friendly governance, the DC directed officials to treat visitors courteously and provide complete information on government services. She said citizens should not have to make repeated visits and warned against negligence or delays in service delivery.
“The responsibility of every department is to ensure that the benefits of government welfare schemes reach eligible beneficiaries. Transparency, accountability and efficiency must remain at the core of administrative functioning,” she said.
Review of Samadhan Shivirs Complaints
Later, while reviewing complaints received through the district’s Samadhan Shivirs at the Mini Secretariat auditorium, she directed officials to take all grievances seriously and ensure their timely disposal. She reviewed pending complaints department-wise and instructed officers to provide effective solutions without unnecessary delays.
