Toyota Kirloskar Motor is entering India's growing anime and pop-culture landscape through a new collaboration. The automaker has announced its partnership with Animation Express for Anime India 2026, a multi-city event series centered on anime, manga, gaming, and Japanese pop culture.
Toyota at Anime India 2026: Venue and Dates
The inaugural event under this partnership will be held in New Delhi on June 6 and 7 at Yashobhoomi. The Delhi edition of Anime India 2026 will feature a J-pop concert by Yurika and the India debut of renowned Japanese voice actor Inoue Kazuhiko, best known as the voice behind Kakashi from Naruto.
Toyota at Anime India 2026: Models on Display
As part of the event, Toyota will showcase three models at dedicated stalls: the Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Toyota Glanza, and Urban Cruiser Taisor. Notably, all three vehicles will feature special wraps inspired by the globally popular anime series 'Attack on Titan'.
Toyota at Anime India 2026: What to Expect
The company's flagship display featuring the Urban Cruiser Hyryder will also host several engagement activities, including quiz competitions, stamp rallies, and spin-the-wheel games for visitors. Anime India has quickly emerged as one of the country's largest ticketed anime conventions. According to the organizers, the last two editions collectively attracted over 60,000 Gen Z attendees. The platform brings together anime fans, cosplayers, creators, and international participants under one roof.
