The minister, who also serves as the Lucknow in-charge minister, expressed strong displeasure with the poor conditions. He directed officials and staff to take immediate corrective action. Progress Noted During Return Visit
During his Saturday visit, Khanna reviewed the ground situation closely. He observed that sanitation work was actively in progress. A substantial part of the cleaning had already been completed. The minister also noted that illegal encroachments identified earlier were removed by the municipal corporation.
New Directions Issued
Khanna instructed the municipal commissioner to develop an open gym at the site freed from encroachment. He emphasized the need for proper barricading of the area with grills. The minister announced plans to inspect the site again after twenty days. He will review compliance with all directives at that time.
