Residents across various parts of Nagpur should prepare for scheduled power outages on Wednesday as the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (MSEDCL) undertakes crucial pre-monsoon maintenance activities. These essential works aim to fortify the electrical infrastructure and enhance network reliability before the onset of the rainy season, minimizing potential monsoon-related disruptions.
Detailed Schedule of Power Cuts Across Nagpur Divisions
Congress Nagar Division: Several localities will experience power interruptions during specific time slots. Areas including Sai Nagar 1 & 2, Giribalaji Nagar, Amrapali Nagar, Pawar Nagar, Navegaon, and Dhamna will face outages from 8:30 AM to 12:00 noon. Nearby neighborhoods such as Venkatesh City, ITI Colony, Ocean Super City, and the Ozone area will see disruptions from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Additionally, Deendayal Nagar and Swavalambi Nagar will be affected between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM, while the Ameya feeder will remain off from 8:30 AM to 12:00 noon.
Other Affected Areas: Multiple regions across the city will also experience temporary power cuts. Locations like RPTS Road, Laxmi Nagar, Shivaji Park, and Dharampeth Extension will face outages from 7:30 AM to 11:00 AM. Meanwhile, Tilak Nagar, Gokulpeth, and Canal Road will see cuts from 8:00 AM to 12:00 noon. Pratap Nagar, Trimurti Nagar, Bhamti, and Somalwada areas will remain without power between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM.
Civil Lines, Mahal, Gandhibagh, and Industrial Zone Impacts
Civil Lines Area: In Civil Lines, neighborhoods including Aakar Nagar, Swami Colony, Prerna Nagar, and Ganga Nagar will face power outages from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
Mahal Locality: Key areas in Mahal such as Mahal Chowk, Pustak Bazaar, and Zenda Chowk will be affected by power cuts from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM.
Gandhibagh Region: In Gandhibagh, Shiv Nagar and Ghatate Nagar will experience cuts from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, while specific parts of Bhandara Road will face outages from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon.
Butibori and Hingna Industrial Areas: The industrial zones will also see scheduled maintenance. In Butibori, Bhivsen Khori and Woodland Society will be affected from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Furthermore, Hingna industrial areas will face power outages until 12:00 noon as part of the maintenance initiative.
