Lucknow: In a relief to scores of Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) candidates seeking appointment as health workers (female) in Uttar Pradesh, the National Health Mission (NHM) extended the deadline for issuance of QR code-based experience certificates till June 15.
Deadline Extension Details
Sharing details on Saturday, an official spokesperson said the certificates are required for claiming service weightage in the recruitment process being conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC). The deadline, which was originally fixed for June 10 and later extended to June 13, has now been pushed to June 15 following requests from districts and practical difficulties reported in completing the verification and certificate-generation process.
Purpose of Experience Certificates
According to NHM officials, the certificates are being issued to candidates who are currently working or have previously worked as contractual ANMs under the mission. The experience certificates enable eligible candidates to avail service weightage during the recruitment process.
Official Directives
NHM, Uttar Pradesh, also wrote to all district magistrates and chief medical officers, directing them to ensure timely generation and issuance of certificates to eligible candidates within the deadline. Officials have been asked to expedite the process so that no eligible applicant is deprived of the benefit.
